By: Cmoupi
I enjoyed my trip in a very well located apartment. However the exchanger was uncapable of doing anything and needed some help for everything without calling us but annoying the neighborhood. He let my studio completely dirty.
The thing I liked the most: good location in Boston
The thing I liked the least: the owner from Boston needs a social worker to clean the room, give a call or wash the sheets, dishes...He can't travel alone

Points of interest

Except for Harvard University and MIT, situated in Cambridge, on the other side of the Charles River (50 min. by two buses, starting from my doors) nearly all points of interest in Central Boston are at a walk distance from my house. To visit Fenway Park with a rose garden, ponds wild Canadian geese and ducks, famous Fine Arts Museum and unique private Elizabeth Gardner museum, the renowned Boston Symphony Hall (where BSO, one of the greatest in the world, peforms) and the world's best jazz conservatory Berklee College of Music, North Eastern University, Christian Science cathedral and headquarters, the tallest Boston's Prudetial highrise (60 floors) with observation deck, sophisticated fashion shops on Boylston Street, you don't need public transportation. And the Red Sox baseball stadium, at a 7-min. walk, with its many beer bars and a famous blues theatre, draws crowds of fans.

How do you get there?

By 20-min. ride by bus, right to my door, from Boston Common (the oldest park in the country, city's focal point.) There are four subway stations, different lines, at 10-15-min. walk from my house. From Logan airport - half an hour taxi ride, 45 min. by subway. From South Station, where railway and buses stop, 30 min. by subway; easy connecton with New York City by non-expensive bus lines, 3 1/2 hours, or by train. North Station (25-min.subway ride) connects Boston with Rockport and other old picturesque Atlantic seashore towns with sandy beaches. Beaches in Revere can be reached in 50 min. by subway.
